OUR MISSION

Through education, advocacy, and creative collaboration, Designers for Dogs aspires to bridge the gap between design and animal welfare, ultimately transforming the Interior Design community into a force for positive change in the lives of rescue and foster dogs.

Together, we can create spaces that not only reflect our shared values of compassion and care but also serve as a testament to the profound connection between design and the well-being of our canine companions. Join us in designing a brighter future, one paw at a time, and helping these deserving dogs find their loving homes.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

As an Interior Designer, I am in three or four client homes per week and almost all of them have dogs. People invest a lot of money in their homes and aren’t alway educated on the best products to suit their taste and their dog-friendly home. Designers For Dogs is important because it’s changing the narrative. Yes, you can adopt a dog or foster and have a nice home. It’s all about choosing the right products and having the right resources. Dogs and the home go hand in hand. It made perfect sense to utilize the interiors community to be a voice for change in alleviating pet homelessness.

We strive to enlighten and inspire Interior Designers, Decorators, and enthusiasts about the profound impact they can make on the lives of rescue and foster dogs. By showcasing the transformative power of thoughtful design, we aim to highlight the importance of creating pet-friendly spaces that not only enhance the lives of our four-legged friends but also integrate seamlessly into our human-centric spaces.

Finding Homes for Dogs

In partnership with shelters, rescue organizations, and dog foster networks, we actively collaborate to provide resources and support, working tirelessly to find loving homes for dogs in shelters. Through our collective efforts, we aim to ensure that every dog in need has the opportunity to find the joy of a loving family.
